Guess who’s back!? We had Flem (@godflemgod) join us back in the studio off his year long covid hiatus lol. We discussed braving Dallaska last week and how quickly Texas thawed out and got back to business as usual (04:20). Bobby’s back in the free world so we took the time to discuss how we feel this next wave will and should be for he and GS9, especially since they followed the way of hip-hop and the streets by not snitching so. We debated how the reverence of not snitching must be put on display with the support if we really want to push the narrative that it’s worth especially with the colorful troll trying to hijack hip hop (41:53). The end of Kim-Ye? What Why the divorce of Kanye and Kim Kardashian is beneficial for both parties (59:25). No haters allowed! Source had to give a PSA on his no.1 dealbreaker on a first date. It might be surprising AND random but he’s riding with the Hive (1:23:00). This show had our usual randomness of course, the topics and thoughts that might usually go UNSPOKN.

On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we celebrate! We recapped our 100th episode “celebration” as well as discussed Inauguration Day along with other occurrences from the last 2 weeks from Trump’s exit and his relatability to OJ, the pardons and the fallouts (1:38). Source gave us an update on a family tie that looks to be renewed which caused us to discuss the importance of Fatherhood in the black community and ask what is the true source of manhood (15:40). The common man takes on the Stock market which becomes David vs Goliath battle for GameStop (31:15). HBO released the Tiger Wood’s documentary “Tiger” which we had to recap and tell how and why Tiger fell off the wagon from his Vegas escapades to how he went about “cheating” the wrong way. Tiger Tales is what we called this segment (42:30). TI and Tiny’s wild allegations among other topics. This episode was full of celebration and laughs but the talk was real. Pull up and plug in!

On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we were by one of the goats blogging and content @Blogxilla. He joined the show to discuss his background and the initial wave of blogging and sharing entertainment news. He also spoke on the power of reflection and embracing the wins no matter how small. He shared how his passion of cinema was sparked by a hood classic on bootleg and a surprise celebrity interaction with a hip hop icon who he found out was a fan of his work. We also discussed the optics of what occurred this week in Washington DC with the attempted coup of Capitol Hill. We broke down the display of white and American privilege and the danger that could ensue going forward. This episode was one of real and honest dialogue.

On this episode of Sessions W/ Source I was joined in the studio by DJ Lavish. She stepped into the lab to discuss her inspirations that led her to the turntables as a self taught DJ. We also did a deep dive into her hip hop favorites (she is a true hip hop head) and her love for music overall. On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we were joined by K104 Radio Host and Southern Hip Hop Ambassador @hollyhoodbaybay. He sat down to chop it up with us on his beginnings in entertainment (all levels lol) and how he managed to leverage his magnetic personality and gifts into a radio career and hip hop facilitator. We had some unfiltered dialogue on a controversial and almost damaging allegation that led him to Dallas where he was able to recalibrate and clear his name resulting in his place on Dallas radio and as a lead ambassador for Shreveport and Dallas. The gems were flowing on this episode and we were also briefly joined via FaceTime by Memphis Hip Hop artist @youngdolph. This episode was a vibe beginning to end, tap in!

On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we were joined by the owners/founders of @Tequilawithfriends. Based out of Dallas (Oak Cliff to be exact) and sourced from the Jalisco region of Mexico.
