Having Harley @harley_bowman_tpc on the podcast was a fun one. We covered a lot, how kickboxing saved his life, how becoming a father pushed him to be a strong role model for his kids and society, and the importance of co-parenting to create a safe and stable environment for his children.

Harley also opened up about being a mentor for young men, helping his best mate Lachy teach kickboxing to youth in their neighborhood. He shared the pain of losing his best friend, overcoming serious injuries, and the drunken shenanigans along the way.

His childhood struggles shaped him into the strong masculine figure he never had growing up. This man is truly amazing - a true protector, leader, and role model - a strong masculine man that we need more of in society.

In this episode, Jack Hendy the professional swimmer & New Zealand national goes deep into his story of all the struggles he faced at a young age chasing his dreams to be a professional athlete.

Saying yes to opportunities & walking through that door, ignoring the critics & giving them the middle finger, using doubt as fuel and having strong family support behind him is truly getting this man to where he wants to be.

Jack explains it’s important to not only be physically strong but mentally strong as an athlete and how working on his mental health and taking a holistic approach to success in sports has really improved him as a professional athlete.

Jack’s in deep training at the moment as he’ll be racing over in New Zealand for the NZ Swimming Championships on May 21st. He’s also a personal trainer at Newcastle University helping other people achieve their goals.
