Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar brynhawn llewygus o hydref, roedd golau tachwedd yn cael ei hidlo trwy'r dail aur oedd yn cwmpasu Bryn Celli Ddu.
En: On a languid autumn afternoon, November light filtered through the golden leaves that blanketed Bryn Celli Ddu.

Cy: Roedd y seiadu cerfiedig yn britho a phob cerrig yn storio hanes dros fil o flynyddoedd.
En: The carved stones were speckled and each stone stored history over thousands of years.

Cy: Roedd Alys a Gareth yn sefyll ar drothwy'r garnedd, lle mae holl hud a dirgelwch y byd hynafol i'w deimlo.
En: Alys and Gareth stood on the threshold of the cairn, where all the magic and mystery of the ancient world could be felt.

Cy: Alys, gyda llygaid yn pefrio o gyffro, saffai ei bod yn fwy na'r hyn y mae'r llygad yn ei ddarllen.
En: Alys, with eyes sparkling with excitement, sensed that there was more than meets the eye.

Cy: "Gareth," meddai â chymell, "mae amrywiad y cerrig hyn yn awgrymu cerdd o gysylltiadau tragwyddol â safleoedd eraill.
En: "Gareth," she compelled, "the variation in these stones suggests a symphony of eternal connections with other sites.

Cy: Oes ganddynt gyfrinach yma?
En: Do they hold a secret here?"

Cy: "Ond Gareth, yn asgoes wrth ymyl y fynwent droellog, gwelir ei bryder yn dirgrynu yn ei lais.
En: But Gareth, leaning against the winding cemetery, showed his concern trembling in his voice.

Cy: "Mae Bryn Celli Ddu yn anrhydeddu ein treftadaeth ni, Alys," amngrafodd ef, "dim ond peidiwn ni â mentro newid hynny o wirionedd.
En: "Bryn Celli Ddu honors our heritage, Alys," he paused, "we must only avoid venturing to alter that truth."

Cy: ""Ond," trawodd Alys, "os nad ydym yn mentro, bydd yr hynodder a'r gwybodaeth yn dod yn hen brofiad cudd?
En: "But," interjected Alys, "if we don't venture, won't the uniqueness and knowledge become an old hidden experience?"

Cy: "Yn haes dychrynllyd, agorwyd darn cul yn llawr y siambr ac yntau yn datgelu gofod cuddiedig o dan ddaear.
En: In a chilling moment, a narrow piece of the chamber floor opened, revealing a hidden space underground.

Cy: Roedd Gareth yn tynnu'n ôl gydag ofn, ond roedd Alys eisoes wedi penderfynu i fentro.
En: Gareth drew back in fear, but Alys had already decided to venture forward.

Cy: Er gwaethaf yr anfodlonrwydd, dilynodd Gareth hi, ac gyda'i gilydd, cuddiasant eu hunain ym myd dywyll y siambr gudd.
En: Despite his reluctance, Gareth followed her, and together, they concealed themselves in the dark world of the hidden chamber.

Cy: "Edrychwch!
En: "Look!"

Cy: " swniodd Alys, yn dynnu sylw at gerfiadau manylach ar waliau'r siambr: symbolau hynafol ac yn llunio cysylltiadau gydag eraill safleoedd mytholegol.
En: exclaimed Alys, drawing attention to more intricate carvings on the chamber walls: ancient symbols forming connections with other mythological sites.

Cy: Enghraifft oedd hon o'r byd oedd gynt, ond wrth eu hyfon, daeth glud yr adeilad atyn nhw.
En: This was an example of the world that once was, but as they advanced, the glue of the structure captured them.

Cy: Clymodd ceffyl ei glodd trwchus symud eu ffordd allan yn gaeth a berwedig.
En: A horse's thick mane seemed to guide their way out, entangled and tangled.

Cy: Yn ofni ymhell, cefnogodd Gareth ei synhwyroliad, "Mae angen i ni fynd yn ôl, Alys.
En: Fearing further, Gareth reaffirmed his resolve, "We need to go back, Alys.

Cy: Ni allwn adael i harmonïau'r man hwn gael eu dinistrio.
En: We can't allow the harmonies of this place to be destroyed."

Cy: "Defnyddiwyd y ddau eu hymdrechion, yn hamgáu cymhelliant a gofal, i ddatgelu ystwythder naturiol strwythur y siambr, hyd nes cawsant portread yr wyfainid i ailagor drysau’r siambr a gorffwys ei wallt.
En: The two used their efforts, encompassing motivation and care, to reveal the natural flexibility of the chamber's structure until they found a portrayal of the resilience needed to reopen the chamber doors and rest easily.

Cy: Ar ôl dianc, roedd gwynt yr hydref yn chwythu dail am y ddau, nowych a heb ei chuddio.
En: After escaping, the autumn wind blew leaves around them, fresh and uncovered.

Cy: "Diolch i chi, Gareth, am ofalu i gyd," dyna Alys, gan dirganlliw gydag ewyllys newydd o ddiogelwch.
En: "Thank you, Gareth, for caring," said Alys, tinged with a new sense of security.

Cy: Roedd Gareth yn ddefnyddio mwy o syniad gloewder a tenantiaeth Alys.
En: Gareth embraced more of Alys's insight and tenacity.

Cy: "Ond mae angen hefyd gyfuno darganfod newydd i fewn i gredu treftadaeth ni," cyfaddefodd.
En: "But it's also necessary to combine new discoveries with our heritage belief," he admitted.

Cy: Roedd yr heddiw a ddoe wedi dod yn un trwy alw bach tawel hydref Mabon ym Mryn Celli Ddu.
En: The today and yesterday had merged into one through the gentle call of autumn Mabon at Bryn Celli Ddu.
