February is for a lot of things this year but today we are talking about Black History Month. I am sure we’ve all been having a lot of fun and hopefully learning a lot.

But what does black history month look like on a university campus?

Is it just posters and events? Is it activism? Is it more about community?

And most importantly, what happens next?

Between deadlines, part-time jobs, exams, and life outside of school, students are constantly learning how to balance it all. So our question today is, how do students actually make university work on top of their personal lives?

This is uOvoices. For our first episode, we’re asking a necessary question: What does it mean to be a Christian student here at uOttawa, and how does faith help shape identity on campus?
