Joel Dahmen and caddie Geno Bonnalie are childhood friends who grew up playing golf together in the Lewiston-Clarkson Valley on the Washington-Idaho border. They have since developed into one of the most entertaining duos on the PGA TOUR.

Tony Finau and volunteer Bill Patterson were brought together on January 30, 2018 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, held at TPC Scottsdale, where the veteran PGA TOUR player rescued Patterson from a near tragedy on the driving range.
Patterson was performing his duties, as he has for the past decade, when he lost control of his golf cart (2:38) and got run over. Patterson was dragged some 50 yards before Finau reached him and was able to move the cart off. He has since made a full recovery and reunited with the golfer at the 2019 3M Open in Minneapolis, Minnesota (6:28).
