The Sodder family went to sleep on Christmas Eve in 1945 expecting to wake up to a joyous Christmas morning. However, shortly after midnight, the family was awakened to the smell of smoke and the sound of fire destroying their home. Five of their children remained trapped in the home, never to be seen again. Or were they?
