Up In The Mix

This week we've got a panel of teachers here to discuss their thoughts on the education system as we continue to deal with COVID 19.  We share our concerns with teaching in person, how distance education could be improved, and what will happen when someone tests positive.  We also talk about the joys of teaching, and why each of us entered the profession.

Friend of the show Grayson Beffa joins us from Los Angeles and shares how Covid-19 is affected so-cal and how he's dealing with social distancing.  We also discuss how the shut down is effecting bars and other entertainment industries, what it's like to be out of work, and of course random thoughts about the current state of hip hop!

This week we're joined via videocall by Seattle based Artist Frank Montano.  We talk about his art, new job, and how he and his family are weathering the lockdown.

This week we've artist and owner of Lasting Dose Tatoo Mike Curatello in the honeycomb hideout.  We here about his journey from New York to Reno, how he got into tattooing, opened his own shop and nerd out with him on comics.  We also discuss the Covid-19 pandemic and how it will affect small businesses.

This week we're joined by the multi-talented Grace Hayes.  She tells us about her time on American Idol, her writing process, and talks about her music.  She also explains how she deals with online haters and her growing Tik-Tok fanbase.

This week we're joined by friend of the show Mike O'shea.  He shares how his travels around the world have shaped him personally and how he would like to use his experiences to help others.

We're on location this week at Derby Supply Co in downtown Reno to hear from returning guest Vinnie Gravallese and the new, all-natural men's care product line he is producing.  We also take in the new, beautifully expanded barbershop, learn how hard it is to make natural, non-toxic products, and catch up with our friend.
