When you're whatever this gang is called, you're what that word is all the way. In KNIGHTS OF THE CITY (1986), Leon Isaac Kennedy leads a street gang of chain-swinging, switch-blading, tight leather shirt-wearing, bad b-boys with dreams of musical stardom taking them beyond their rough streets. The big music competition is their last shot to prove something to themselves and everyone else - except the record label head, who threw the contest specifically to see and sign them. But will rival gangs, a romance with the execs daughter, and the existential angst of being a gang that now focuses on music instead of violence break them? Or will it Breakin' 2 them?

Did Anno stick the landing and finally give us the conclusion we all wanted? As per usual in the Eva universe, the answer is unclear. To finish up the Rebuild discussion we talk about 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo and 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time to definitively see through all the chaos if this series ended on a high note.

WELP it didn't take long for us to get back to Evangelion. We watched all the Rebuild movies and like the absolute weebs we are, we couldn't stop talking about it. We'll go over storyline changes, budgetary changes and everything under the LCL sea for these movies to ultimately answer the big question: are they bad? While we love Italian schlock jungle shoot-em-ups as much as the next school, this one rebbed some of us the wrong way. Classic Rob. This 1985 OVA follows a bunch of space lesbians in their fight over earth. It's definitely close to porn, was produced by studio AIC which HAS done lots of porn, but I guess it isn't exactly porn... if that makes any sense? Let's get weird and dive into this charming sci-fi together!
