A cast of B-movie vets, scenic Griffith Park shooting locales, and a cyborg female body builder with a gun arm make for essential Video High watching.

The shiny brand new anime CHAINSAW MAN has been on a PR wave since it was announced. Now it's finally here and it's even more chainsaw-ier than we thought. We delved into the first 3 episodes of this chaotic romp of a show and have MANY questions: Was it as good as all the hype? What the hell us up with the theme song? How did 20 minutes of TV get me to adore a chainsaw faced dog more than I do my own dog? Are we sticking with it, or dropping it after 3 eps? Tune in to find out!

I ATTACK THE MOON!! We take a retrospective look at the first ever season of the proper YuGiOh anime english dub. In the iconic first season, Yugi and his FRIENDS teach us a lesson about FRIENDSHIP with virtual ANIMAL VIOLENCE or something idk. Often criticized for playing the card game wrong, we use our time magic to take a deeper look at Duelist Kingdom and examine if in fact it does hold up to this day, Yugi boy.

Video High once again puts its ear to the door of the future to listen to what cinema is coyly whispering about the year 2023. We see it all: what has passed, what's to come, and what may yet shall be. The only thing we don't see is texts from each other to make sure we don't all cover the same movie. But our resolution this year is to try to be attentive, B-E attentive. The class discusses movies set in the year 2023, such as BRING IT ON: CHEER OR DIE (2022) and [redacted] and etc etc.

Since Hana No Asuka Gumi 1 performed so horribly, we decided to do THE SEQUEL!! In the follow up to the shitty, unfinished and previously lost predecessor, Hana No 2 puts us in the streets of Tokyo with more girl gangs, a different story and less dropped frames of animation (woohoo!). Did this improve upon the original? Or should we abandon Asuka forever?

For NO REASON we got an anime sequel to the 2009 live action series, Kamen Rider We have no idea why this happened or who LET it happen, but we were more than happy to watch the absolute hell out of it. One of us mayyyy be able to spill the beans on Kamen Rider and everything a normal viewer couldn't necessarily pick up... but like is it worth the watch??
