Up Yer Arts Podcast

This week Paulus and Emily throw the plan out of the window. Well Paulus does and Emily tries to reign them in.  Our mission takes us to the art of drag with ‘The Art of Drag Course’ creator Michael Twaits.  We go on many twists and turns from how Michael went from being an actor to drag and cabaret star, his life as a new Dad, gender soup, and how each of us have witnessed students blossom on our courses.  We packed a lot in, no wonder the plan got thrown well and truly out of the window!

Paulus (Cabaret compére and Judge from BBC One’s All Together Now) and Emily (Burlesque performer and producer of Luscious Cabaret) are on a mission to find out how the arts enrich people’s lives and by doing so hope that they will enrich your lives too.  In our first podcast we talk to sideshow artist by night and data analyst by day Roman Ackley.  We delve into what the arts mean to them and what life would be like for them without the arts.
