Brian continues his discussion about his new film "24 to Heaven"; the story of South Boston, Massachusetss champion boxing family, the Attardo's.

His academic background as historian, scholar and athlete provide the essential tools necesary to make dialectical connections between semingly extraneous variables to synthesize a compelling argument as to nobility of boxing not only as sport but, in addition, as art and spiritual practice, and the reasons for its growth and development as well as its demise and fall. 

By focusing his attention to a particular family in a strong ethnic neighborhood over two decades, he is able to highlight the individuals, the sport itself, and the concomitant effects it had on all inhabiting an urban society during the post-war period. 

Boxing, itself, becomes a character in an almost Shakespearean tragedy along with its other main characters, the athletes within the Attardo family, itself.
