030Episode 112: Jared Oakleaf
Presented by Final Rise
Wyoming may not register as a hot spot for Chukar hunting. I'd say, the locals prefer it that way. Generally, when Chukar hunting gets good (Dec, Jan, Feb) most people shift their thoughts to milder temperatures. Wyoming is a wild place, and the residents have to be a little wild as well.
Jared grew up in Lander, Wyoming. He now works for the Bureau of Land Management and now helps manage the public resources he grew up exploring. From Chukar, Huns, Sage Grouse and mountains Grouse, Jared and his Setter, Rhiza , are never without an adventure to pursue.
Join me this week as Jared and I discuss: Chukar's distinct love for Marijuana , 1st Chukar hunts 19th Century Exploration Novels, public land, and much, much more
