The trial-within-trial in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case has resumed in the High Court in Pretoria. Yesterday, lead investigator in the case, Bongani Gininda testified that communication records between singer, Kelly Khumalo and her sister, Zandi Khumalo show that Kelly wanted to get rid of Meyiwa, as early as the year 2013. During his testimony, Gininda also revealed that two of the accused had implicated the singer in the murder of the soccer star. Meyiwa was gunned down in October 2014 at Khumalo's parental home in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg. Five men are on trial for Meyiwa's murder. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter, Pearl Magubane.
