The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa-Prasa says it's working on restoring some of its networks that had to be closed due to vandalism and theft. The Shosholoza Meyl, a long-distance train service operated by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa), has been ordered to stop operating with immediate effect. This follows a fatal train crash on February 12, which left one man dead and several others injured when a goods and passenger train collided on the tracks near Bonny Doone Road in Horizon View, west of Johannesburg. A 14-year-old rape survivor is testifying in the Upington Magistrate court in the case against her alleged rapist. The teenager is suffering from cerebral palsy and has problems talking and she will be testifying through a tablet device - with programs similar to those being used by people suffering from Motor Neuron Disease. The man who allegedly kidnapped an 18-month-old baby in Shawela outside Giyani has been found dead, in police cells this morning. Circumstances around his death are not yet clear.
