Upland Down Under

In this episode, I was joined by CoachFunk, one of the leading Upland Metaverse community leaders, pioneering the development and growth of several WEB3 opportunities. He has been playing Upland since November 2021 and has forged his own direction and path in the Upland Metaverse with purpose and conviction. As a co-founder of the Evergreen Lahser 7/8 neighborhood development collaborative in Detroit, the creator and developer behind the HGF Collective project, and just an all-around top bloke, CoachFunk has rightly positioned himself as a Metaverse Strategist to keep an eye on. We discussed some contemporary Upland events, including the state of the secondary markets, the Totem potions mechanics, and the aviation bundle sales, and of course, some of his history within Upland. We also get some great information, insights, and opinions on what he’s currently working on, and a glimpse into what it takes to set up, manage, and sustain a healthy WEB3 community. I had an awesome time discussing all of that and more. If, like CoachFunk, you're able to step out carefully but purposefully into the limitless world of WEB3, then you might also find yourself staying evergreen in 'The Metaverse and Beyond!'.

On tonight's show, we catch up on the Upland market floors, the new starter city Slough is ready to release, entries into the Genesis 2024 Design Challenge has closed, is Upland being usurped as the go-to WEB3 ‘Monopoly on the blockchain’, and Upland introduces general aviation airports! The main topic for tonight's show is, ABRACADABRA! We finally get an update on the next phase of Totems, but it came with an unexpected Totem-Potions twist and a fairly hefty HOCU$ POCU$ price tag to boot. We've got QIPS on a community rant compilation, and another on in-game tracking for the Genesis season tasks. And, of course, we'll take a look at another Upland community member spotlight, care of the Dynamic Node Builders team. Speaking of which, the Upland Down Under Podcast in collaboration with the Dynamic Node Builders team has put together a 50,000UPX prize that you can enter in the lead up to Genesis Week 2024. More details on that later in the show. Tonight we'll also give away 35,000 UPX and a Samurai Aquatics map asset, which takes the 2024 giveaway tally to 735,000UPX and 42 Map assets. But wait, there’s more!

In this episode, I was joined by DanyP2000, who is an extremely active Upland Metaverse community member. He's been playing Upland since August 2020 and has made some very impressive moves in the space, always positioning himself to take full advantage of new events and opportunities in Upland. That’s evident not only in his account progress charts but also in his massive 58.46 Spark balance from grinding out treasures in Queens, and in his current focus on Totems. With over 200 totems and planning to obtain more, Dany is well-placed for all that’s to come with Protem and STEM, etc. Despite a few connection issues here and there and some lag between the crappy Australian and Italian internets, I had a great time discussing all of that and more, of course. If, like DanyP2000, you're willing to think and plan ahead and invest a significant amount of time in your WEB3 future, you might also find yourself on the cusp of greatness in 'The Metaverse and Beyond!'.

On tonight's show, we catch up on the Upland market floors and check in on the Neighborhood Ratings winner for May and the final Blossom Season Pass rewards drop to take a look at. Blossom season has come to an end, and the countdown in on for the commencement of Genesis season. Speaking of which, the Genesis Week hackathon finalists have been announced and speculation on the destination for the Genesis Week city release continues to build. The main topic for tonight's show is, WHITEOUT! The push to bring on more Layer 2 opportunities into Upland has never been stronger, yet the stability of the Layer 1 foundation continues to rapidly deteriorate and whitescreen crashes have become ubiquitous on the mobile app. What should, or what could be done about it? We've got QIPS the potential release of fantasy cities, the slow death of FOMO-fueled vanilla mode city releases, and what’s Uplandbureau up to in Kansas? And, of course, we'll take a look at another Upland community member spotlight, care of the Dynamic Node Builders team, and we'll give away 75,000 UPX and a Samurai Aquatics map asset, which takes the 2024 giveaway tally to 700,000UPX and 41 Map assets. All that and more on this, the Upland Down Under Podcast!

On tonight's show, we catch up on the Upland market floors and check in on the Neighborhood Ratings winner for May. We've got the Blossom Season Pass: Drop 6 to take a look at, the Upland Community Awards 2024 nominees are in, there’s something going on about Mathilda Studios, we had a bizarre non-bobbling Patriotic Bobblehead sale, and of course, the Chapter 1 Sparklet Airdrop has been delivered along with some associated raised eyebrows to reflect on. The main topic for tonight's show is the theme for Genesis Week 2024: ‘Sparklet Gives You Wings’. Ummm, that seems like a pretty reckless move to come right out and stomp on Red Bull’s toes like that, doesn’t it? At face value, that seems like a potentially very litigious thing to do, but maybe it signifies that there’s something much more to the story? We've got QIPS on potential metaverse partnerships, aeronautic mini-games, and the lack of in-game voting. And, of course, we'll take a look at another Upland community member spotlight, care of the Dynamic Node Builders team, and we'll give away 45,000 UPX and a Samurai Aquatics map asset, which takes the 2024 giveaway tally to over 600,000 UPX and 40 map assets, and it’s only May!
