Ben shares his journey to his career in upland conservation, as well as his many hunting opportunities he has been afforded along the way. We highlight current and future conservation efforts that Ben is planning for Michigan, as well as how we can access lands with wild Pheasant, and how we can aid in the Pheasants restoration efforts not just in Michigan but across the country. On this episode, my co-host Scott joins me to talk with a friend of mine, Jon Danaher. Jon is an avid upland and waterfowl hunter with an unwavering drive and passion for the sport. On this episode, we talk about the birds, the dogs, and what it takes to hunt the Northwoods for Grouse and Woodcock. We also discuss the legacy Jon would like to leave on the upland community and we find out the "mystery" of just what Snipe hunting really is.

In our inaugural episode we sit down with my co-host Scott Cleland. Scott is an avid upland hunter, angler, and entrepreneur. We find out where he started his upland journey, and how he got to where he is. Along the way we cover stories of his first bird dog, to his now breed of choice, as well as pheasant hunting back in when there were many a Pheasant in the uplands vs today, and current efforts in the works to increase pheasant habitat and hunter retention. Lastly as will become tradition with our guests, we discuss the legacy Scott wants to leave behind to keep this American tradition alive.
