이대리: 옆 팀 유리씨가 저랑 사귀잖아요. 근데 눈이 너무 높아요. 서울에 아파트 없으면 결혼은 꿈도 꾸지 말라고 하구요. 요즘 아파트 하나는 결혼에 필수적이잖아요.

김팀장: 뭐.. 결혼 이야기하면 다들 요즘엔 이해타산적으로 바뀌긴 하지만, 유리씨까지 그럴 줄 몰랐네.

이대리: 이번 주에는 잠깐 결혼식 준비 비용 알아봤거든요. 왜 다들 상업적인지 모르겠어요! 심지어 돈 주면 친구대행으로 결혼식을 축하해주는 서비스도 있더라구요. 결혼식 맞춤형 서비스는 더 비싸구요. 지금이라도 의대가서 의사가 될까봐요.

Lee: You know, I'm dating Yuri from the next team over. But she expects too much (literally, "her eyes are high"). She says I shouldn't even dream of marrying her unless I have an apartment in Seoul. A Seoul apartment is a prerequisite to marriage these days.

Kim: Well, I've heard that more people are approaching marriage like a business deal, but I didn't know Yuri was that way.

Lee: I've checked out the cost of wedding preparations this week. I had no idea it was so commercialized! There's even a service where you pay to have people come to the wedding and act like your friends. And custom services are more expensive. I'll have to go to med school and become a doctor just to afford it.

Kim: I couldn't get married that way. My wife didn't complain at all. She didn't mind starting out in a small house.

Lee: Oh, I envy you.

Kim: Mm, this makes me want to call my lovely (literally, "won't hurt even if I put her in my eye") wife. I'm dying to hear her voice. You stay put.

Lee: Oh, manager, I'm dying of envy!
