준영:과장님, 어제 ILL 여행사와 미팅을 하고 왔습니다만..시간 있으실 때 보고드려도 괜찮으시겠습니까?

과장:지금도 괜찮은데. 어땠어?

준영:그 쪽에서는 웹사이트를 전면적으로 리뉴얼하면서 고객들이 여행 일정을 자유롭게 만들 수 있는 시스템을 만들어달라고 요청했었습니다.

과장:계약은 잘 성사될 것 같아?

준영:네. 충분히 가능성 있다고 생각합니다. 하지만 조금 문제가 있는데 말입니다.. 담당자 분이 IT와 관계된 거에 대해서 익숙하지 않아서 말이죠..

과장:음.. 준영씨도 뭐 그렇게 경험이 많진 않은걸 생각해보면 IT에 대해서 너무 잘 알고 있는 클라이언트랑 일하는 게 오히려 문제일 것 같은데? 반대로 생각해보면 오히려 잘 풀린 걸 수도 있어.

준영:그렇게 생각하면 그렇겠네요..

과장:그럼 앞으로 어떻게 하기로 했어?

준영:먼저 다음주까지 제안서랑 견적서를 뽑아가기로 했지만.. 뭐부터 시작해야할지 솔직히 잘 모르겠습니다.

과장:먼저 ILL 여행사의 경쟁사들 웹사이트부터 잘 살펴봐봐. 그렇게 하면 어떤 사이트가 사용하기 쉬운지 어떤 기능이 필요한지 보일거야. 그런 다음에 제안서를 만들면 되는거지.

준영:알겠습니다! 말씀 감사합니다.

Joonyeong: Department manager, yesterday I went to a meeting with ILL Travel. When you have time, may I give you my report about it?

Manager: Now is fine. How was it?

Joonyong: They requested a complete redesign of the website and a system that allows their customers to freely make their own tour itineraries.

Manager: Well, do you think we can reach an agreement?

Joonyeong: Yes, I definitely think we can. But there's a little problem...the person in charge seems to be unfamiliar with IT-related matters.

Manager: Oh, well even you, Joonyeong, don't have much experience with that, so if you had to work with a client who knew a lot about IT, there might be trouble. On the contrary, you should think yourself lucky.

Joonyeong: That's true.

Manager: So what did you decide to do next?

Joonyeong: It's been decided that by next week, the proposal and a quotation will be brought to them. But to be honest, I'm not sure what I should start with.

Manager: First, you should research ILL Travel's competitor websites. That way, you can see which sites are easy to use and what functions are needed. Then I think you should try creating the proposal.

Joonyeong: Got it! Thank you very much!
