Karl and Crew

UR Alive to Thrive!

Listen Later

Today Perry and Shawna welcome Chris Coursey of Thrive Today (thrivetoday.org) to talk about not just surviving but thriving in our relationships during this stay at home order, and beyond!  First we talk about how shared joy is the fuel for relationships and our conversation is about how to turn on that switch so our relationships can thrive.  Then the joy gap is the space between shared joy in our relationships.  We talk about how to shrink that gap, how to make the gaps smaller.
Then we have a conversation about how to renew and recharge our relationships through joy and rest.  Next you get to drink from a fire hose.  : )  The great thing is that you can pause to take it all in!  We unpackage 2 acrostics, the first is CAKE.  This helps us assess whether our joy switch is on or off.  And then it’s CARS.  This has real life ways to turn the joy switch on.  And finally another acrostic that gives us a real life ways to shrink the gaps between shared joy in our relationships through PLAN.  These conversations are gold.  Check em out!
