This week we talked about an OG Urban Nerd by the name of Katherine Johnson. She was one of the previously under credited minds behind some of NASA's most historic space missions. The highlights of her life and career were recently immortalized in the film "Hidden Figures" with actress Taraji P. Henson portraying Johnson. On Feb. 24th she passed away at age 101 leaving behind a legacy that is a testament to what brains and determination can truly help one accomplish despite ones social status. Today's episode comes on the heals of a very tumultuous week. We had the NBA all-star game weekend, nicki minaj and meek mill are speaking (arguing)again, and D'Wades son is now about to be his daughter. All this happened while the "Sonic The Hedgehog" movie set the record for highest opening weekend for a video game adaptation, and the internet got fooled by standing brooms.

It's been yet another crazy week in the world. Over the last week people the world over have been in mourning over the tragic loss of basketball phenom/warrior/legend Kobe Bryant. He along with his daughter (Mamba 2), and 7 other passengers are no longer with us due to an unfortunate helicopter accident. We also touched on a few more stories including the rapid spread of the Coronavirus. We even scored our first interview on the show with Florida based rapper "Kewl CutLis" and he even weighs in on #RIPMAMBA.
