Inspired directly by the master Joe Zawinul, the song is a composition dedicated to his music and legacy. We tried to capture the feeling of the legendary band “Weather Report” with background analogue pads along with Chino’s fretless bass melody that feels almost lyrical and the frenetic passages by Ted Taforo’s tenor saxophone heavily influenced by African music. While the whole song is supported by percussions in a “train” pattern. And the synth solo in the style of Zawinul as a cherry on the top.

With highly detailed textures the sound brings up a dramatic and epic atmosphere. Almost feels like the soundtrack for a super hero movie. Sadunas is the first single and great introduction taken from Chino Corvalán’s new album project titled Endless Era. The project is modern jazz at its finest, every song was written and mixed by Chino himself and he invited incredible musicians to perform such as Ted Taforo, Victor Alvarez and Telemakus among others.
