Trade tensions between Washington and Delhi are intensifying this morning, as Donald Trump plans to raise tariffs on imports India because of its purchases of Russian oil.

It's part of efforts by the US to increase pressure on the Russian economy. 

Delhi has fired back, claiming the US is hypocritical by itself indulging trade with Russia itself.
