In this episode, we discuss we experiences as Black people in predominantly White spaces. Some of these experiences involve racism, microaggressions, misogynoir, stereotyping, and other forms of discrimination. Experiences discussed occur within multiple contexts including our elementary school experiences, middle and high school, higher education, and within church contexts. We reflect on the ways that these experiences have impacted us and share ideas, resources, and tools that have been helpful for us in navigating these spaces.
