The leader of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate has demanded a "full investigation" following the White House's confirmation that a journalist was included in a group chat. The group chat included U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other senior officials where they discussed planned strikes against Yemen's Houthi group.
