Boy, girl, cub, and sea scouts spent the day collecting food donations in Yamhill County.  Also food was dropped off at the McMinnville main fire station .

Statue unveiling will be 3:30pm Sunday, December 7th, in the parking lot of Oregon Mutual Insurance in McMinnville.   Public reception will follow at the Elks Lodge in McMinnville. 1203

Will Vinton's first show of Claymation art, including original pieces will be at the Lawrence Gallery, 19700 SW Highway 18, McMinnville.    Pieces are being show right now.   There will be a special reception at which Will will be there Sunday, December 7th from two to 4pm.

73 coats have been donated so far in the Coats for Kids campaign.  If we get 100 coats, Parker Smith of Smith and Company Painting will paint for an entire day in a pink Tutu.   Everyone donating a new coat with the tag still attached will be entered in a drawing for the services of a painter for an entire day.    So far only seven people have done so, so your changes are excellent.  Put your name and phone number on a piece of paper and put it in the pocket of the new coat.   Donate coats at Sherwin Williams Paint in McMinnville, next to Grocery Outlet.   Donate at Sherwin Williams in Newberg, next to Izzy's Pizza.   Thanks for helping put coats on kids!!   All coats go to YCAP for distribution.

Police conduct a high risk traffic stop in McMinnville earlier today.  We will have more information later tonight,  Police did not fire any shots and no one was injured.
