The deadline is Monday, April 15th to raise a total of ten thousand dollars, mostly for transportation, registration, to compete in the Worlds competition in Houston, Texas Wednesday, April 17- April 20th.

NerdHerds Ethan Hanson, Lead Programming Co Captain from the NerdHerd,

win loss record of ten to 2, one of the best win loss records at this year's District competition in Houston. The only other teams with a higher scoring record were Jack in the Bot and Bare metal at 11 wins, one loss for each of those teams.

The Nerdherds were not chosen for an alliance selection.

Nerdherds was the top seeded team not selected for an alliance. So Nerdherds were a back up team. They did get subbed in for a Newport robotics group in the finals competition. the Nerdherds robot was damaged by another robot, 4125-Confidential Robot drove up over the bumpers of the NerdHerd bot and wires were loosened in an electronics board.

Despite loosing a semi final round, and not being able to move into finals.....and despite loosing a final round as a backup bot, the NerdHerd Team has enough points to compete in the International competition in Houston, Texas.

The group needs to raise ten thousand dollars to go.

Yamhill County's NerdHerd is still very much in the running to head to international competition in Houston.  After

three days of district competition in Tacoma, Washington, the team has  8 wins 2 losses, 57 district points during

qualifications. that points them at 7th place in competition and 7th in the Northwest.  According to the NerdHerd

team, The top 25 teams in point standings will be headed to internationals in Houston.
