Welcome to The Backyard Naturalists, the show about anything and everything connected with nature.
If you have ideas for topics that you'd like us to pursue, send us a message either on our Facebook page or our website. We would really like to hear from you.
Today, we'll talk about how you can use pole systems to create wildlife habitats in your yard. The poles range in height from 4ft all the way up to 6ft, six and a half feet. You can also add baffles, squirrel baffles and racoon baffles to add to it. Once you have it, you can just keep adding to it, says Laurie. All the components of a wildlife habitat, food, water, shelter, places to raise young could be put on this pole system. Where do they need to put this? Wherever. And we're going to talk about that concept a little more with another short episode.
