UStepIn Hope Ministries

A servant could be a nation, a ruler, or a religious leader. God gave us all the capacity, the strength, to be His Servants. A Servant, is a person who is humble in principle, but more importantly is a person who has strength that comes from God.

You will bring Glory to His Name! - Romans 1:1-7

The apostle Paul knew how important it was to write a letter to the Jews in Rome, for them to learn of the centrality of faith, of becoming a Christian and of living the Christian life. After all, apart from faith, we have no hope in life. We need to have faith in our Father God, the creator of the Universe.

A Season of Singing and Joy! - Isaiah 35:1-10

So many times, so many times we mess up, we drift away from God, yet He pulls us back into relationship with Him time after time. But when our relationships with others go south, what can we do? 10 thoughts about that and 3 things to ponder.

Yet if we walk along God's path for our lives we walk through a season of singing and joy.

Welcome One Another - Romans 15:1-13

During this season of Advent, do we expectantly wait for the visit of baby Jesus? Do we open the door wide? Or do we carefully close it because we feel our home is not ready to accept him? Or do we just sit there doing nothing and still expect to be welcomed into the house of the Lord? Some tough questions, but questions we need to ask ourselves.

Come, let us Go! - Isaiah 2:1-5

The first Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Peace, the Candle of Hope. It's a time not of getting into a frenzied rush to gather presents for a single day of gift opening. Rather Advent is a time to slow down, to reflect, to allow our anticipation for the coming of the Lord to grow. The first 5 verses of Isaiah chapter 2 are a ray of hope during a desperate time, surrounded by dire warnings of things to come.

To be Defeated or Forgiven - Luke 23:32-43

It’s so important for us to remember that just as God forgave those who crucified Him, Jesus, God has also and will also forgive us. Always remember, God knows who we are and He loves us anyway! Even if we only come to Him at the last moment of our lives!
