It can be hard to shake a bad story, especially if you put yourself in similar circumstances again and again. AJ thought he was a good roommate but the conversation on the After Show changed that, but now he DEFINITELY won't be thought of as anything other than a fire hazard. Luckily, when home alone it's unlikely AJ will burn anything down because he actually doesn't do anything. Anyone else when they're away from their partner?
Story #1 - Man tries to steal a truck at a car wash but is caught and forced to call 911 on himself
Story #2 - A guy walks into a Waffle House, threatens everyone with just finger pistols only to steal...napkins
When it comes to keyboard versus phone, the answer is obvious...unless you have a boss who won't give up old phones because of their keyboards. Producer Butterz doesn't eat while driving? Doesn't everyone?! I mean don't steal from your roommates, but it's hard to start with the confession for Cache Valley Secrets. Did anyone else feel like there was a build up to deliver for the proposal, especially the longer it didn't happen? AJ can't believe his goddaughter got through her baby and toddler phase without the heart attack and panic caused for her parents. Doesn't everyone have one of those OMG stories for the Debate At 8? If the question is "Who would steal a traffic sign?" the answer should be, EVERYONE!
AJ keeps the confessions going with his proposal anxiety. Did anyone else feel like there was a build up to deliver for the proposal, especially the longer it didn't happen? AJ can't believe his goddaughter got through her baby and toddler phase without the heart attack and panic caused for her parents. Doesn't everyone have one of those OMG stories?
Story #1 - A man broke in a building at night, but it was a police station
Story #2 - A man came home to his house broken in to but was told "The horse did it!"
Who really uses phone books anymore anyway? So WHY NOT use them to fix potholes? In the After Show yesterday AJ found out that surprise moves maybe AREN'T quite as uncommon as he thought. The hubris needs to be balanced out with some humility, but what is the thing you think you could challenge a pro at? The rarity of something makes it generally more valuable, so if you don't have a meal a bunch as a kid then it's fancy right? AJ figured out it has very little to do with price or specialness when it comes to meals he thought we were fancy as a kid. As a kid his dad also said he wanted to be food critic and now AJ has been a judge for a few events and feels like he owes an apology for the Debate At 8. No more will we bow down to sock overlords!

Story #1 - A criminal escapes from custody and is found standing in her front yard
Story #2 - Three thieves went into a CVS and stole $1000...worth of candles
How many years have we had smartphones and AJ went how long without mobile data? AJ gets a mullet for charity, and detests it once, and the universe keeps trying to put it on him again. Would you rather have a mullet for a year or be bald, no wigs, for six months? Delivery wasn't a thing in the AJ house, limited sodas for friends were some of the weird rules for AJ growing up. Out West, driving 30 minutes is nothing, but AJ's perpetual single friend said he wouldn't drive more than 20 for a date. This is of course the same guy who likes to talk and ask about bad dates on the first date, which is a no-no. The amazing thing about dating though, is there's no universal rule for the Debate At 8. The average pet tries to eat something they shouldn't four times a day? I think it's a little higher than that.
