A message was sent in asking for advice on kids and their cell phones for the Debate At 8. Nieces and nephews under ten all got smart phones. When did you get your first phone? AJ & McCall got theirs at the same age, well for AJ that was the second time for AJ, but when should kids get them? Will flip phones make a return?

McCall has news, but unfortunately it’s all sad news. Another present hasn’t come in the mail for her AND she finally figured out the mystery of what’s happening to her chickens. AJ isn’t making New Year’s Resolutions but McCall came up with a compromise for him, make resolutions for the rest of the world. What goals should we put out there for the world to accomplish in 2019? Occasionally, the Debate At 8 is used for advice, but McCall has also had this kid related discussion. When did you get your first cell phone and when should kids get them? We always have fun texting games and today’s is ‘What’s the most interesting screenshot you’ve taken this week?’

Every picky eater says the same thing ‘I know what I like.’ Producer Butterz is one of those picky eaters and AJ & McCall tease him about it. There’s lots to try and new things you could like so mix it up. However, McCall says there’s a few places she goes that she gets the same things every time. Is that different for the Debate At 8? Are you a picky eater and get the same thing?

No matter what your preference everyone has to have a favorite breakfast food, but for AJ’s dad it is only pancakes. Despite all the options in the area that’s the only one he will eat. That’s better than the lie McCall used to use to avoid foods she didn’t want to eat. Everyone and their mother has seen the movie Bird Box, but what would get you to take off your blindfold? And how the heck are people getting hurt from the movie? Picky eaters never admit it, they just say they know what they like. Producer Butterz is one of those people and AJ & McCall tease him about it. However, McCall says she has a few places she goes to and gets the same thing every time. Is it different?
