It's a refrain in self-help circles that you can have/be/do anything that you want. This absolutely true! But there is always a price to pay and you must pay in advance. So many people are manifesting the things that they want in their lives because they think that meditation and vision boards alone will get them there. It won't! The Universe requires some work on your part. Be willing to pay the price and the world is yours!

As our craziest year comes to a close, I take some time to think about what 2020 has meant and what I learned during the course of the year (so far!). Looking toward 2021, what are the strategies that we need to have in place to seize the momentum (or create momentum) so that we can account for the ensuing craziness AND achieve our goals?

Of all years, 2020 has been a year of great uncertainty. Our families, our neighborhoods, and even our country has been ravaged by the hydra-headed Covid-19 pandemic that lead to a devastating loss of life, unparalleled civil unrest, and the highest rates of unemployment and food insecurity since the great depression. Uncertainty almost seems like an understatement in this context. But are lessons that we, as entrepreneurs, can take from one area of our lives and apply them overall? Can we use those insights to help those around us? Let's explore!

Being a good steward is hard. It usually requires more work that most of us are willing to give. This is true with our personal and professional relationships, as well. Maintenance and stewardship of our valued relationships can yield tremendous opportunities and deep, fulfilling connections. Imagine journeying through life with the right people by your side. You can't buy that! But you can cultivate it.

Let's explorer the tremendous Power of Relationships. 

There are several key touchstones on the road to full adulthood. Learning the relationship between inputs and outputs, or sowing and reaping, changes you forever once you see how it works. This is especially true when still so many others don't see how it works and continue to be driven by scarcity and fear.

This is my story of how I escaped life in the housing projects and wandered into a life of wealth, purpose, and fulfillment.
