Illness won't stop the Vacant Gazing team this week! They spent their entire Christmas vacations playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate and now they want to add even more characters to the roster. But they're going beyond other video games and adding celebrity chefs, figures from history, and some 90's sitcom characters...because nostalgia! Come for the madness, stay for the terrible puns.

Happy New Year from the Vacant Gazing Crew! Everyone has resolutions, and Chris, Matt, Ryan, Tim, and Apollo are no different! In this episode, they go through some of their resolutions that pertain specifically to video games. Some are more attainable than others, like tempering excitement for Kingdom Hearts 3 or buying a mech-suit. While others have absolutely no hope, like completing a Steam library. It's the end of the year, so it's time to give out some video game awards. But the Vacant Gang doesn't do the typical "Game of the Year" style. Hanukkah is pretty early this year, but the first week in December is usually a pretty boring lull between holidays. That's why the team at Vacant Gazing decided to put their festive noggins together and create a new, video game themed celebration! This week, they figure out which video game would be the best setting to take a trip and relax. The Vacant Gazing Gang will barely finish their Thanksgiving dinners, but they can't wait to get to those sweet, sweet Black Friday Deals. So Chris, Matt, Ryan, and Tim put together their shopping lists and got some video game gifts for each other. Like...actual items from games. There's robot buddies, introvert stealth augments, and a crap load of bees! It's all pretty wild, but it beats the crowds at Walmart!

It's almost Thanksgiving, so the Vacant Gazing crew decided to add a few more seats at the dinner table and invite some video game characters for a holiday feast. There's plenty of family drama, insane side dishes, and drugs at this gathering. It's not going to be the most traditional Thanksgiving ever. But at least there will be Pokemon naps.

Blizzard got creative with some cross-promotion for Overwatch by creating a Lucio-themed breakfast cereal. So this week, Vacant Gazing figures out some other brands that that can be repped by some video game characters. They get a cereal for Portal, Fallout Flakes, Yoshi eggs, and other things that don't quite fit into a balanced breakfast... like Castlevania meat and trash whiskey. Those sound delicious!
