Vaishali Patel, founder of Sanskar Teaching, and one of my most kind and dear friends, shares her journey of growing up in India and immigrating to the United States at the age of 16.

She talks about the challenges of assimilating into a new culture, recognizing the importance of preserving Indian culture and connecting generations, and the beauty of her journey of embracing her heritage through the power of tradition and language. 

Without intentionally setting out to do so, Vaishali and I end up connecting so deeply on the topic of... you guessed it... BOUNDARIES!

As you are all aware, it is a topic near and dear to my heart and one that I will never stop preaching about. Vaishali has a refreshing and unique take on how language can either help or hinder the way our intended message is received, ultimately impacting the strength of our relationships and communication.
