Monique Priestley (D), one of the sponsors of the Vermont Data Privacy Act, which passed the VT legislature on May 11 only to be vetoed by Gov. Phil Scott (R) and faced a tight override effort. Today she’ll discuss the drivers behind the bill, touted as a truly different bill for the US, and what happens next.
