Jesus never side-stepped the hard stuff. Neither did his cousin, John (the Baptist). Both engaged cultural issues from Scripture, the revealed will of God. Morality matters to God. His heart is to protect us from the destruction of hearts and homes, lives and families, caused by immorality. How are Christians to live and engage our culture in regards to biblical morality? God has a life giving word for you today.

What do you know about Jesus? Have you confined Jesus to your understanding of Him? Sometimes what we know is not all there is to know about Christ. Jesus’ hometown folk and friends weren’t so receptive when he came back for a visit. They thought they knew him better than they actually did. God is at work in this world. You can know Him and join him.

Real life touches EVERY person. You can be well known or unknown, one of means or one of no means, it doesn’t matter. Real life touches EVERY person. When you come to the place where it's plain that life is bigger than you, how you respond will either make you or break you. Here are two separate lives, both wrapped in desperation. Their next move may surprise you.  When you get to the place of desperation, you should make this move too.

God is always working. He often leads us to places and people who are blinded by spiritual darkness and bound by spiritual forces. Why would He do that? Discover both the compassion and the power of Christ as He intentionally moves to set free a man ridden with demons. Then ask yourself if your life and witness are just as powerful.
