  • Ep. 26: The Mothman Prophecies (Richard Gere vs. Cryptids)

    MoKuest Studios presents...

A Valley Strange/CineKuest Video Podcast crossover

You've heard the us discuss the John Keel book, The Mothman Prophecies, now check out CineKuest Video podcast discussion of the film The Mothman Prophecies, starring Richard Gere.

A “not a hero” saves a town from an innocent cryptid messenger, the Mothman. Poor little dude. If only the townsfolk would’ve listened and maybe performed maintenance on a bridge we could’ve avoided the deaths of the citizens of Point Pleasant.

    • Ep. 22: Duendes (Cryptids of Ambiguity)
Backed by the finest reputable Reddit researchers and Wikipedia wizards, we are back with our strange scientistry (or whatever it is you all think we do). Our topic of interest this go around has been focused around the intriguing phenomenon of the “little people” aka “Duendes”. If you’re unfamiliar with the subject matter, duendes are a regionalized version of other cryptids such as elves. These diminutive (or not so tiny, depending on the account) dudes are mostly mischievous-or-at-times-nice-or-maybe-super-evil creatures and their diverse backgrounds (once again, depending on the account) was all kinds of ridiculous fun for us to look into. What are they about? Where are they from? Why should we care? Well, quite simply, they’re badass creatures that we hope exist. We present you with our addled take on what duendes are about--it is now on you to decide what to do with the information.
Have you recently misplaced a favored knife in the kitchen? It might be those damned duendes. Join Rey, Daniel, and Roland as we try to break down what these fascinating cryptids are.

    • Ep. 20: Gods of Eden-Part V(Books of the Strange Vol. 4)
We did it, folks! We finally bring our coverage of The Gods of Eden to a close in a spectacular fashion! Bramley encourages others to carry the tinhat torch and continue to build off this “template” of the true history of the world we mere plebs fail to see. We’re superduper happy to be done here, so listen in as we finish with the definitive “framework” of Custodial studies.
