It was just an ordinary day for Moses the shepherd. He was tending to his father-in-law's flock on the backside of the dessert. But God had other plans, and wanted to get Moses's attention. The next thing Moses knew, he was talking with God through a burning bush.

Maybe you find yourself comfortable, going through your ordinary, routine day. And then, BAM! Something happens to throw a wrench in it. Is it God trying to get your attention? Maybe it's a sermon, maybe it's a passage of scripture, maybe it's a circumstance.

But, if God is trying to get your attention, do not ignore it!

As we celebrate Mother's Day today, we think of all the things that makes a woman a great mother. So many of those characteristics are found in the Bible. Patience, kindness, wisdom, love, compassion, gentleness, and especially humility.

In order to be truly humble, you must have a servant's heart, compassion, placing the needs of others above your own. Isn't that part of the definition of being a mother?

A heartbeat is consistent, with a continuous rhythm. Humility should be the same way; consistent.

Tonight we closed out our seven part series on prayer titled Prayer 101: Learning to talk to God. In this evening's message, Closing our Prayer: Lord, It All Belongs to You, we see how Jesus closed out his model prayer by declaring that everything belongs to God.

The Kingdom, and everyone in it, belongs to God. The Power, and the ability to answer our prayers, belongs to Him. The Glory, all of it, belongs to God.
