Pastor Justin is under the weather tonight (please keep him in your prayers) and unable to preach, so Bro. Keith Elkins gave us a message on salvation and the Master's Will.

Paul tells the church of Galatia to remember that Christ died for their sins, unto salvation, and to flee the perverse gospels and stick to the Master's Will.

The spirit of revival that has been blowing through Valley View carried over to this morning's service and Bro. Justin never even got the opportunity to preach. But another 7 souls were saved, many rededicated their lives, and countless others received help from God on the altar.

This is just a small taste of what happened at Valley View this morning...

Tonight Bro. CT closed out our revival meeting with another wonderful message on finding Salvation in the Passover. 9 more souls were saved! Many more found the help they were seeking. This might close out our meeting, but it is not the end of revival. True revival is a renewed spirit in our heats. This only closes the meeting. Take that flame inside you, fan it, and let the fire grow in Knoxville!

In the book of Exodus we see the children of Israel, born into slavery, being told by Moses to place blood over their door as a sign to the Angel of Death to pass over their home and spare the life of their firstborn.

We are the children of Israel, born into slavery, and needing to be covered by the blood of Jesus for salvation. In the Passover we see a lamb. A select, special, spotless lamb. In Christ as also have a select, special, spotless lamb. It is His blood that saves us!

Is the blood applied to your heart? Are you covered by the blood and saved from death? Tonight could be the night!

Boy oh boy what a night of revival at Valley View! Another 13 souls were saved tonight, ranging from small children to 80-year old senior saints! The fires of true revival are burning strong at Valley View and we have made the decision to extend our revival at least another night. Bro. The book of Matthew describes an upcoming wedding and a bridegroom who was on his way to get his bride. In the parable there are 10 men with lamps; 5 were foolish and had no oil in their lamps, but 5 were wise and their lamps were full.

Throughout the Bible the oil is a typology of the Holy Spirit. And the question is this: is there oil in your lamp tonight? Does the Holy Spirit dwell within your heart? Are you saved, and ready for your bridegroom (Jesus) to come get His Bride? In our parable, the 5 foolish men were left on the outside of the house knocking to be let in, but the Lord of the house said I know you not.

Have you been saved? Is there oil in your lamp? Get filled before it's too late!

What a night we had at Valley View!

Man, by nature, is rebellious. We rebel against God and rebel against spiritual matters. Our flesh naturally resists spiritual matters. It's a constant battle between our conviction, and our flesh.

But we also serve a Holy God who will often reprove us when we do wrong. And that's not always a bad thing. It's that gut-wrenching reproof that convicts us of our sins and lets us know when we fall short.

The alternative is a hardened neck to God, whose response, the Bible says, is sudden destruction.

Don't harden your neck. Obey that conviction in your heart, before it's too late.

Bro. CT Townsend kicked off our 2016 Fall Revival with a message on reaping what you sow and breaking up the crusty ground in your life.

Maybe you've grown hardened to God's Word. You don't have the same zeal as you once did. You've become bitter and unmoved. You can't find yourself to even pray over the things of God, including the upcoming revival. You don't read your Bible, you don't pray, and you only come to church out of habit and obligation.

If that's you, then you have crusty ground. Break it up! Prepare your heart for revival! Only then can you sow good seeds and one day reap the reward!

With revival coming up at Valley View this week, Pastor Justin preached a message this morning showing us what we must do before we can experience real revival.

Revival isn't just a meeting that we schedule because we have nothing to do. Real revival is something spiritual that we experience individually. We can have a revival meeting without ever experiencing real revival. On the flip side, you can experience true revival without ever attending a revival meeting.

So what do we need to do in order to prepare ourselves for real revival, before the creditor comes? We pray this message will help you to prepare for what God has planned for this week at Valley View.
