Elisha prayed for God to open his eyes, so that he may see. Elisha was being blinded by the adversary and needed the Lord to help him.

We are being blinded each and every day by the devil as well. It doesn't matter if you've been saved or not, the devil is not going to give up on trying to make you stumble and fall.

Pastor Justin is away on a weekend trip, so today Bro. Mike Meade shows us some of the blindfolds the devil uses to cause us to stumble. Maybe you're being blindfolded and don't even realize it...

Tonight we had a young man, Austin, with us to give his testimony. Austin was in a terrible car accident a few years ago, and by all accounts should have died in the accident or in the upcoming days. Instead, God worked a miracle in this young man's life, and he is making sure that God gets the Glory for the miracle he experienced!

An orchestra plays different instruments and different notes to come together to make a beautiful song. A football team wears the same uniform and has the same goal but they have different roles. Unity is a oneness of purpose, driven by a common goal, focusing on where we are going, not on who we are.

This morning Pastor Justin preached on The Incredible Power of Unity. As a church, coming together in unity is often times difficult. There are different people, with different natures, with different personalities. But through the power of the Holy Spirit we can all come together and work toward a common goal.

The Holy Spirit is the one who draws us together. Are you resisting unity, or are you aiding it?

Matthias was a faithful servant of the Lord. But, He is barely mentioned in the Bible. But his faithfulness paid off. Following the death of Judas, the Apostles needed to elect another member, and Matthias was chosen.

In order to be an Apostle, one must have met three criteria, and Matthias faithfully met all of them.

Be a Matthias. Be faithful!

The children of Israel faced a great opposition as they entered into the Promised Land. Literal giants stood between them and the land that God had led them to. In the end, they faced the last man standing; Og, the king. But, this land had already been promised to them, and God was going to see to it that they took it. They were fighting FROM victory rather than FOR victory; the outcome had already been determined.

Christians fight their own giants even today. Those giants come in different shapes and sizes, and are sometimes only seen by those battling with them. But, just like the Israelite children, we can fight FROM victory rather than FOR victory!

Now is not the time to get comfortable and be at ease in our situation!
