  • Not Judging Others
In this message we unpack one of the most misused statements of Jesus. It is an important, powerful and effective statement....we just need to use it in the way that Jesus meant it! When Jesus said, "Judge not lest you be judged", we need to remember that Jesus never used scripture to justify sin and neither can we. Also when it comes to judging, Jesus is the Judge, we are not. Even Jesus said He did not come to judge people but to save them (He will come back to judge). The same should be our view. In fact it's love people and judge them at the same time. We also need to be careful not to turn people into categories because that's what being judgmental does. Also, Jesus reminds us to clean up our own dirt before we talk to others about theirs. • No More
In this message Pastor Dan unpacks Jesus' teaching on "worry". Jesus sees what it does to us. Worry does not add anything to our lives. In fact it actually takes away from our lives. Jesus promises that if we seek God first, He will provide all the things that we need. These are often the things we worry about. Also, next time you find yourself worrying, remember your God given identity. As a child of God...your heavenly Father has you covered! • What's in Your Wallet
Like the famous commercial that asks, "What's in your wallet", Jesus asks us to think about the things that we treasure. We often say we treasure certain things but the bible says, "where our heart is our treasure will be also". Whatever we value most, we will invest our heart, our time, our focus and our treasure in. Jesus is saying that our heart is connected to the things we truly treasure. Jesus reminds us to store up treasures in heaven instead of fleeting things here on earth. Lastly Jesus reminds us that we cannot serve both God and money....we have to make that choice. Only one path can be our ambition in life. • The Discipline of Secrecy
The Discipline of SecrecyIn this message Jesus teaches disciples like us about the motives behind the good deeds we do. He looks at the topics of giving, prayer and fasting and we are faced with the glaring question: would we do these same good deeds things if no one ever saw, heard or noticed that we did. Because that is what clarifies our motives. When we are willing to do our good deeds secretly, we remain anonymous and God gets the glory. If we do them needing to be seen, heard or recognized, then we usually get the honor and God oftentimes does not. Apply the discipline of secrecy to your life and see how the Father sees and rewards those who do. Listen along and discover more!

  • Life on the Inside
In this message we look at Jesus' teaching that righteousness is a matter of the heart – not just our behavior. Jesus cares about what's going on in our inside, not just our outside. Jesus is saying that if we think it & feel it - we already did it on the inside. When we honestly look at the things that our think and say, we have to come to the honest conclusion that we are all sinners and all need a savior. Lastly, Jesus is calling us to love beyond our borders and beyond our comfort zones, it is time that we "greet and love those that are not our people". So remember that you are called to be intentional with those who are not your people. Go out this week and let the light of Jesus shine through you as you greet and love those who are very different from you! Jesus calls that righteous! listen along and discover more!

  • Salt & Light
In this message we look at the next thing that Jesus taught his disciples that Christ followers need to know - and that's influence. Jesus tells us that through Him, we have more influence than we know. That influence expresses itself as "Salt and Light". Jesus says you are the salt of the earth and that means God put you in the preservation and flavor business. When the life of Jesus doesn’t come out of us, we have no influence. Jesus also says you are the light of the world. Let's remember that the Light of Christ is attractive. It is light and not loud, it is bright not brash, it is radiant not right. Like Jesus we are to be full of truth and grace! That's attractive! Lastly, your light shines through the Jesus-motivated deeds that you do - and that's how God gets the glory! • The Be Attitudes
In Matthew 5 the 1st thing that Jesus taught his new followers was about a key to life, blessing and happiness. That key is our attitude. It is true that our attitude determines our altitude. As a follower of Christ, Jesus said we will be blessed for these certain attitudes. But be prepared though; because what Jesus is about to say is the opposite of what society has told us about the keys to happiness, joy and blessing. Jesus ensures us, if we want to be emotionally healthy and happy, to have these Be-Attitudes! Listen along and discover more!

  • Discipleship 101
In this message we look at how Jesus started His ministry and at the very 1s guys that He asked to follow Him. When we look at those who followed, they apparently saw Jesus for who He really was. Some people seem to miss out on that. He called them to become "fishers of men", to connect people with the God who loves them. These followers were soon called "disciples" because they were committed Learners who aims to copy their Master. We see that each of them had to drop something in order to follow Jesus. We too need to drop whatever gets in the way of following Him. As the disciples spent time with Jesus, they discovered that His ways were taught, but it was even better when they were caught! Listen along and learn what Discipleship 101 is all about!
