Urgency makes the difference. You must wake up if you want to love your neighbor rightly, if you want victory pulling sin off and putting on Jesus.

Simply put Jesus says clearly that it is vital that you listen to his words and do what he says. This makes the difference in life and eternity.

There are two roads; one leading to life as it is meant to be, the other to misery and destruction. Stay on the narrow way and be wary of those who try to lead you off the right path.

Judgement does not change unrighteousness, but restoration is found in persistence in your own spiritual health, prayer, and communicating that you want the best for others.

You will find satisfaction in your life only when you seek first the kingdom of God. Every time you put something else first you are asking for heartache.

Jesus’ prayer asks to us exercise our knowledge of God, our faith in God and place his as the top priority of life. Resounding through out the Lord’s prayer is a call for us to to put our own priorities aside and depend less on ourselves.

Real life and faith can be yours when you humble seek Jesus and put aside the desire for approval from all others.

To sum up the great evangelical commentator John Stott, “At some point the Christian will have to live out these words more literally than they would like to a higher cost than they would like to pay.”

Life is not found in obedience to the law, but in Jesus, the fulfillment of the law.

Jesus is asking us to be salt and light with authenticity in our living, honesty in our testimony, frankness in our worship and intentionality in our holiness.
