In Ep #28 I am covering how Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak utilise v4v on their show ‘No Agenda’. The unique aspect that they bring is that they bloody invented the model! So basically everything they do is unique. What I really think sets them apart though is the effort they spend in creating an amazing presentation for Producers who reach the next level of royalty (i.e., the knighthood ceremony) as well as the myriad of ways the help facilitate contributions time and talent via cover art/websites/the NA shop/troll room/meetups. The list goes on and on.

In Ep #27 I am covering how I myself use v4v on my main show ‘Mere Mortals’. The unique aspect that myself and my cohost Juan bring are that we really try and increase the quality of our show through the new Podcasting 2.0 tags and giving actionable advice on how to support. I also try to change the pitch every episode and link in to what we were talking about so that it doesn’t become stale and repetitive.

In Ep #26 we are covering how Claudiu Chereji uses v4v on his show ‘The Claudcast’. Claudiu reads out niche documents/books whilst also fleshing out his own ideas in monologues. A unique pitch he makes his how you will be unlikely to find these written words in any other audio form and also highlights why one needs to be considerate on how they attract attention to their show and garner feedback.

In Ep #25 we’re covering how Brando Sellers and Jake Hider use v4v on their show ’The SLIEK Podcast'. A unique aspect they bring is the implementation of leaderboard, showing who has donated and how much. With increasing donation thresholds supporters are rewarded with cool merch and the leader being crowned 'The Lizard King'. Apart from that these guys use almost all the P2.0 tags and are super proactive in spreading the value for value message not only within, but outside of their show as well.

In Ep #24 we’re covering how Blair Schofield & Martin Lindeskog use v4v on their show ‘The Secular Foxhole’. One unique aspect they brought was to put themselves in a new listeners shoes and really help them in the process of being able to support the show. This took the form a step by step breakdown from start to finish of getting a decent podcasting app (in this case Fountain), acquiring satoshis and being able to stream them. A necessary part of the practical education!
