Halloween is nearly upon us, so it is only fitting we close out the month of October by jumping blindly into the season finale of a series dedicated to the undead. Though Vampire Academy  is based on a set of books that came out in the mid-aughts, this adaptation on Peacock has shown to take some liberties when compared to the original source material. Developers Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre, who have previously worked on every vampire CW show of the last decade, clearly wanted to take this story and its characters in a different direction than the books or the critically panned movie.
