On the third episode of Vampire: the Masquerade – Twin Cities by Night “Embers”, the coterie learns how heavy survival can feel when every step must be taken in the shadows. On the run, cut off from former allies, and unsure who in the Twin Cities still considers them worth saving, William, Warren, and Kaitao search for safety in a world where safety no longer exists.
As shelter, hunger, and secrecy collide, each of them faces the quiet pressure of choices that can’t be undone. The city keeps moving above them—unaware, uncaring—while they’re forced to navigate the thin line between what must be done and what it will cost them.
The Weight of Staying Hidden follows the moment when survival stops being a plan and becomes a burden they all must carry.
About the Chronicle
Embers is the fourth story in the ongoing Vampire: the Masquerade – Twin Cities by Night chronicle. This arc follows Kindred who sift through what the flames of earlier nights left behind—smoldering secrets, frayed trust, and the quiet danger of memory catching fire.
