Caroline Wigmore returns to the Twin Cities for a showcase of her original musical Van Winkle – A Folk Musical. She is joined by orchestrator, Jen Green.  The two discuss the song ‘Watchin’ the Door’ but we quickly move into a conversation about UK and US folk traditions and how they relate to the show.We also discuss how Wigmore’s Minnesota upbringing influenced her musical choices.

The show has been gaining a  lot of momentum in the UK. It recently received the title Highly Commended by the 2014 S&S Award.
