Vana Talks

You know sometimes, you have to go through a bad experience to understand and value the good ones. The pandemic was, of course, a very very traumatic and detrimental time for a lot of people, both mentally and financially. Some people lost jobs, their means of livelihood and had to resort to falling back on their savings. But There's always light at the end of the tunnel.

Today on Vana Talks, we have with us a professional Dancer and Choreographer, who not only had to deal with a lot of problems during the Pandemic but never gave up on his dream. So this week we talk to Junaid Sharif.

Every second brings a fresh beginning. Every hour holds a new promise. Every night, our dreams can bring hope and every day is what you choose to make of it.

Beginnings. A really scary word but something that brings a lot of joy and satisfaction later on in life. Lao Tzu wasn't wrong when he said, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Every successful entrepreneur takes that scary, really terrifying first step. If you are one or planning to be one then is talk is about the struggles of a young startup founder who braved her way through the pandemic and has some really great insights. Today, on Vana talks we have with us, Keyuri Bhargava. The co-founder of Keph design studio. A design studio based out of Ahmedabad. 

Superheroes. The one with the capes and the masks and the superpowers. Ones who save lives and live in the shadows so that the others can see the light. We don't know their names but they are all around us. Wait. Did you think I was talking about Marvel or DC heroes?

No, I'm talking about Doctors. The people who devote all their lives literally, to save someone else's. It is truly the noblest profession to have existed. Today on Vana Talks we have one such superhero in our midst.

On Vana Talks, we have with us, Dr. Mohan Kamaraju, Consultant and Head, Anesthesia and Intensive care. Dr. Mohan was the first person to join the ranks of fighting COVID-19 when the pandemic had just started. He worked with Entrepreneurs and businessmen to raise awareness about this and made a significant impact during this time. In fact, he's still doing it as you listen to this.

Mental health isn't really talked about in our country. More often than not, we tend to bottle up our feelings to the point that it becomes exhausting. While everyone dealt with the lockdown in one or the other way, most of us were thrown involuntarily into a self-introspection cabin. Being confined to one place does take a toll on people. Some people were able to find creative ways to get out of that slump, while some succumbed to it.

While some people dealt with their mental health on their own, there were some people out there who were offering professional help to people through very creative ways. One such personality is Shivangi Lakhlani, the founder of HerMovemeant.
