The #NBA Preseason is set to tip off on September 30th and the Basketbuddies are reunited for Episode 30 of the Vanslam Vancouver's only NBA Podcast, to our knowledge, here on the Area51 Sports Network. Joshua, Sean, and Bowman look into the Donavon Mitchell trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers and what that will do to the landscape in the Eastern Conference if anything for the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers.
We also discuss the new leaked NBA City edition jerseys, what ones we like, and what ones we hate. Why can't the NBA continue to use the good ones? Why do they have to come out with terrible ones year after year? We talk about the Celtics GM's comments about his team being overrated and briefly dive into the Doc Rivers social media scandal.
We also randomly rip the CFL, Talk about why sports are so amazing in October in regards to the NBA season starting, give Trae Young his dues, talk about the making of podcasts, answer some of your questions from Twitter, and a whole lot more.

The Vanslam Podcast is back to somewhat cover the #NBA Finals! The Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics both try to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy! This year has a different vibe for the #NBAFinals and Joshua, Bowman, and Sean discuss what we have seen in this year's playoffs, The NBA Finals, and a whole lot more!
Where does Steph Curry rank among the NBA greats? Klay, Draymond, and the rest of the warriors cast. Who on the Boston Celtics is providing that X factor? Is it Al Horford? Jayson Tatum? or a collective group that is outmatching the Warriors?

The VanSlam podcast is back as Joshua is joined by Sean and Bowman to talk about what's happening with our favorite teams, all around the #NBA and maybe bash a couple of players or two (Trae Young*). Of course, there are the normal nonbasketball shenanigans as we test out our moans, talk some Batman (Don't worry no spoilers), judge Lebron James parenting in the Space Jam movie, and a whole lot more.

The VanSlam is back for a bonus episode that is No #NBA and all Vibes! Joshua, Sean, and Bowman go over 90's music and Much Dance 97' as they look back at elementary school dances. Then we talk about the Superbowl halftime show and go over some nostalgic Rap and if Rap music has lost its luster nowadays with Autotune and everyone sounding the same.
Then we don't talk about the #NBA some more but instead go off on the rest of our music takes from the 90's NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Hanson, and much much more! Also a big shout out to Jeffrey Bruce Atkins!

It's an NBA Trade Deadline day for the Vanslam Podcast, Vancouver only NBA Podcast to our knowledge. This week we break down the big James Harden and Ben Simmons trade between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. How does our resident Sixers fan Bowman, feel about the trade, and can it push Philly to the top of the Eastern Conference?
Then Joshua and Sean weigh in on the trade and look at the Toronto Raptors' move to finally land Thad Young from the San Antonio Spurs. The Raptors also look to continue their strong play of late. An impressive 8 game win streak and Josh and Sean might be actually looking at the playoffs now. We look at some of the other #NBA Trades that caught our interest and what is happening in Portland.
We get into a bit of shenanigan after 3 weeks of solid Basketball talk and take things a bit off the rails before we answer your one question from Twitter. Thanks Adam!

The VanSlam is back this week to chat about the serging #WeTheNorth and their 5 game winning streak. The Philadelphia 76ers were on a streak before a couple of tough losses to the Wizards and the Mavericks. The Eastern Conference is super tight and the Brooklyn Nets are falling. Could we see a trade for James Harden and Ben Simmons?
Fred VanVleet was named an NBA All-Star Reserve and we talk about the rest of the all-stars for the 2022 festivities. Then we get into the Rising stars game and how it could be the pinnacle of the NBA All-Star Weekend in the future. Could the NBA benefit from pushing younger players?
And then we answer your questions from Twitter about changing rules to the NBA and the Winter Olympics. Can the NBA call the rules? Fewer timeouts and more trampolines.

The VanSlam Podcast is back, Vancouver's only #NBA Podcast to our knowledge, on the Area 51 Sports Network. Joshua, Sean, and Bowman get caught up with #WeTheNorth and the up and down season they are having. What is their identity? Is a middle-of-the-pack team okay considering that is what we predicted before the season started? Then we talk about the 111-105 loss to the Chicago Bulls and DeMar Derozan. What is his legacy with the Toronto Raptors? The guys worry his legacy might be nothing more than a trade chip.
Then Bowman goes off on a tangent on why Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers is the MVP and has shown why he doesn't need Ben Simmons. Also, Ben Simmons trade talk as we look around the NBA and discuss if James Harden or Russell Westbrooke could change teams.
We finish off our mid-season awards, sorry Trey Young. Before going over the #NBAAllStarGame Starters. We get to a question from... Instagram and much more!
