In this episode, Alex and David interview the former MGM television president of distribution, Joseph Tirinato. In 1963, after a brief time attending law school in New York City, Joe began a long and successful career when he joined the ABC Television Network as an account executive. From there he moved on to ABC Film, United Artists and Paramount Distribution, eventually he returned to ABC Network in Chicago. He spent 10 years at MGM/UA Worldwide first as Vice President of Television Distribution and eventually becoming President of MGM/UA Worldwide TV and Movie Distribution. His 29 years of experience led him back to New York to become Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at the Television Bureau (TVB) until his retirement.
