Both sons and slaves pick up the trash. What is an indicator of a slave mentality is attitude and the inner voice when we go about mundane tasks. You can get Israel out of Egypt but getting Egypt slave mentality out of the minds of people is hard. Don’t take 40 years and die in the wilderness on a journey that could have taken 11 days. One problem: slave mentality. God doesn’t want you just free, but in His promised land.
