This Saturday we have the big Northam Triple M Rotary Auction and this year we are hoping to raise a lot of funds to go back into the community. I had a chat with Greg Verlinden this morning who has been heavily involved with this annual event for many years.

Quinny is getting up earlier then me at the moment, busting a gut to get everyones' Christmas Hams ready :) He let me give him a quick buzz this morning to have a chat about Thank A Volunteer Day and Xmas on Fitzgerald.

This morning in news headlines there was reports of  street riots over in Victoria outside an event hosted by Milo Yiannopoulos, he hosting numerous talks around the country at the moment and it has caused a bit of a stir as his name has been beaming throughout the news today.

James talke with me this mornign about our local lad Gordon Narriea getting into the AFL, a bit of rugby chat and also the upcoming Xmas on Fitzgeralds.

Bit of Ashes recap from over the weekend with Joel this morning and we also talk a little about the reviewing of umpiring decisions by computer technology and what that means for the game.

It was a really great talk with Ivo this morning in talking about tenants and the late payments of rent and what perhaps should be done by home owners who encoutner such problems.

Again, great reviews of the new shopping centres in town, Carla also has a chat with me about the 'Shop Local Buy Local' campaign and about the local lad Gordan whos made it to the ig leagues in AFL.

We had the Merredin Pool Part on today so in light of that I got Lauren Nemo on board this morning from Life Saving Australia to go through water safety and just give us some reminders coming on into summer.

We did have a couple of burglaries recently but mostly things are going ok in Merredin, just to reiterate about the locking up your car and not making it easy for people to steal.
